After watching the video with your mentee(s), ask the questions, below, to engage the young person(s) in a mentoring conversation with you:


a) What does the repeating line in the song, "Think Higher," mean to you?


b) Why is it important to further your education beyond high school?


c) How will higher education help you achieve a higher level of living?


d) How can it help you break barriers and knock down doors?


e) If you get a college degree, will you be the first in your family to do so?


f) If not, who else in your family earned a college degree? Have you talked to this family member about college? What have you learned from them?


g) What will you do now to start achieving your higher education goal?


h) What does God say about thinking higher?  Philippians 4:8 says, "...Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable - if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think about such things."  What does this verse mean?


i) Have you received Jesus as your Lord and Savior?
